Code of conduct for authors

The authors of manuscripts submitted to Anales Médicos commit to observe the following precepts:

  1. Honesty
     
  2. Transparency
     
  3. Liability
     
  4. Accuracy
     
  5. Integrity

 

In any case, a conflict of interest and any type of financing, scholarship, or payment of fees by the private sector in the last 3 years, or during the development of their research, must be declared.

The following will be considered as misconduct and may be cause for retraction:

  1. Plagiarism
     
  2. Lack of adherence to international ethical considerations in the development of research
     
  3. Data fragmentation
     
  4. Manipulation, falsification or appropriation of data, figures, tables, or images
     
  5. Use of materials without authorization from the intellectual author
     
  6. Duplicate or redundant publication
     
  7. Citation tampering, including unwarranted self-citation
     
  8. Omission of relevant information
     
  9. Manipulation in the list of authors
